"Introduction to FA"
Power Point Presentation

What is It?
This year's Public Information work focused on developing a Board approved "Introduction to FA" PowerPoint presentation. The presenters, or users of the presentation, are FA group members who are asked to speak about FA publicly.

Who is It For?
The audiences for this new PI tool are organizations or professionals who are not familiar with FA. A typical organization might be a local PTO at the middle school/high school level, a mental health organization, a rehab or group of professionals such as counselors. An abbreviated, table-top version may also be used to orient newcomers to FA.

Content:
The full color PowerPoint presentation consists of five parts including: What is FA?, Background/History of FA, Goals of FA, Presenter's "story," Questions and Answers. It takes about 45 minutes to present.

Download:
The PowerPoint presentation can be saved to a file as you view it.
(Note:  You need to have a Power Point Viewer installed on your Computer.)
Also you can right click on the View hyperlink with MS Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and save the target; other browsers should have a similar capability.

How to Use:
The presentation can be saved as a PowerPoint file for computer-based presenting, or printed on projectables (slides) for use with an overhead projector, or onto white paper. A desk-top presentation can be made for small groups or individuals by inserting a piece of white paper between the color slides, placing the slides on facing pages in plastic protectors and inserting them in a 3 ring binder.
